CHARACTERISTICS

Italian keratin allows you to apply extensions with greater adhesion without them being noticeable. One box is enough for approximately 100g of hair. This Italian keratin is currently the best on the global hair extension market. It is increasingly in demand due to its hardness and high melting point. It achieves perfect adhesion and is very clean to remove. To apply them, you just have to melt the keratin with the heater and apply. Available in 20g boxes and in transparent color.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are keratin extensions applied?

The application procedure varies depending on the size of the keratin.

Keratin. Your hair is divided into small sections. The keratin strip is placed close to the root of the hair, underneath a strand of the same size, and then the keratin is fused using a special heated tong. The keratin is shaped and smoothed with the fingers until it becomes hard and cool. We want to emphasize that the hair does not get burned during this process, and the heated tongs are set to around 160–180 °C.

How long do keratin extensions last?

Keratin extensions, provided they are of excellent quality and properly maintained, can last up to 4–5 months, and after that, depending on how well they are cared for, they can be reused one more time.

How often should I have my hair extensions maintained?

Maintenance sessions are typically scheduled every 3 months, depending on your hair growth and how comfortable you are with them.

How do you remove keratin extensions?

It is recommended that you NEVER remove them when you are home alone; instead, visit a specialized hairstylist. To remove them, use flat-nose pliers to firmly squeeze the keratin bond until it weakens. Then, hold the hair root and gently pull the extension downward until it detaches from the hair. If you want to reuse the extension, we recommend not using any type of solvent, as our extensions can be removed perfectly well without it.

Can I touch keratin while it's hot?

No. When straightening your hair or using curling irons, it’s very important not to touch the keratin bonding site, because the heat could melt the product and spread it throughout your hair, and the extension could fall out.

Can I dye the extensions?

Yes. You can always dye them a darker shade or apply color highlights within the same shade range. Continuous and excessive use of bleaching or dyeing causes the extensions to lose their strength and become drier, leading to breakage, tangling, and a significantly shorter lifespan for the product.

Can I apply keratin extensions myself?

No. It is essential that they be applied by a professional at a specialized salon. Not just any hairstylist would be able to or know how to apply them, as this is a specific specialty that requires experience and practice.

How do I know if this is the best technique for my hair?

For normal to thick hair with a considerable amount of volume, we recommend using Italian keratin. It’s considered that there’s enough hair to cover the extensions; it supports the weight well, and the extensions don’t pull or damage the hair.
