We were born to make you shine!
Where does hair come from?
Our extensions are made of natural Indian hair. The hair is carefully selected and undergoes a depigmentation process that keeps the cuticles and hair structure intact. They are made with great delicacy. The hair is treated, meaning it is colored to guarantee the wide range of colors we offer, always maintaining a result of healthy, silky, shiny, and easy-to-style hair. We do not work with mixed hair or synthetic fibers.
What are extensions used for?
Hair extensions are strands of hair that are added to one's own hair using a fastening system to achieve different results: increase volume, length, and density. They are also used to add shine or highlights without the need for dyes, correct haircuts, and fill in split ends.
Are extensions suitable for everyone?
Hair extensions are a cosmetic procedure and are recommended for application to healthy hair. That is to say: there are some medical conditions that may make a minority of clients unsuitable for extensions. Suitability is assessed during a consultation session with your stylist, which is always free and without obligation.
I have short hair, from what length can I get extensions?
The hair must be at least 2-3 cm long to assess whether extensions can be applied, although ideally, for a comfortable and more discreet application, it should be at least 8cm long.
Does wearing hair extensions cause more hair to fall out?
While wearing extensions, the hair continues its normal growth cycle. Similarly, hair falls out and is renewed on our scalp every day as part of the hair cycle. A healthy person can lose between 100 and 150 hairs a day without this being alarming. 10% of the hair is in the "resting phase," meaning it is ready to fall out naturally. When wearing extensions for a period of time, they prevent all that hair from falling out while the extensions are in place. When the extensions are removed, that hair, which had already fallen out naturally, can be removed. Therefore, we can say that it's not that more hair falls out because of wearing extensions, but rather that the hair that falls out when the extensions are removed is the accumulated hair that falls out naturally day after day.

Which extension is better?
It depends on many factors. You need to answer several questions yourself: "What is your goal in getting extensions? Is it for special occasions or everyday wear? And, above all: What is your hair like?"
- If it's for specific events, clip-on hairpieces or fake ponytails are the most suitable.
- If it's for everyday use, fixed extensions are the most suitable.
- For fine, weak, or sparse hair, we recommend adhesive extensions. They are the least bulky, do not damage the hair, and can be reused more often.
- For normal or thick hair and a larger amount, we recommend any type of extension, whether adhesive, Italian keratin, clip-in, etc. There is considered to be enough hair to cover the extension, it holds the weight well, and it doesn't pull or damage the hair.
- It is important that the placement of fixed extensions be done by a professional.
Do hair extensions damage hair?
No extension by itself damages the hair. It's only an addition that is attached to the root of your own hair. With correct placement, this extension should not pull, press, or rip out. While wearing the extension, the hair continues its normal growth cycle. If the care and maintenance instructions for the extensions are not followed, the person wearing them can indirectly damage their hair while wearing extensions.
How do I know what color mine is?
To choose the ideal color, it's important to carefully analyze the color of the ends of your hair. This is where the transition from your hair to the extension will occur, regardless of the color of your roots. If you still have doubts, contact us, and we can give you a preliminary assessment.
How do I know how much hair I need?
The amount of extensions needed depends on your own hair. How much hair do you have?
- A little and thin – we recommend you try with 50-100 grams. Even if you want a large amount of extensions, you have to consider the possibility that they may not fit or be visible.
- Normal - Not too much, not too little - we recommend you try with 100-150 grams (to taste).
- A large quantity – We recommend that you use at least 150-200 grams of hair. There needs to be a balance between your hair quantity and the amount of extensions. If you have a lot of hair and use a small amount of extensions, unfortunately the effect on length will be "poor" and the ends will be sparse.
How do you care for extensions?
The care of extensions is explained step by step in the blog. Some of the most important instructions are as follows:
- Wash the extensions preferably with sulfate-free or paraben-free shampoos.
- Dry the hair 100% with a hairdryer, alternating between cool and hot air, from top to bottom.
- Always moisturize the extension from mid-length to ends.
- Detangle your hair before showering, while rinsing off the applied moisturizer, and after drying it with a hairdryer. Never do it outside the shower while wet, as it breaks the hair more.
- Do not touch the keratin/adhesive with mask/conditioner/serum.
- Do not apply serum or oils to the hair before using flat irons/curling irons.
- Never sleep with wet hair or apply heat from straighteners/curling irons to damp hair.
- Do not bleach or lighten the extension with bleach/other dyes, or set it with perms.
- To dye them, you will always have to use darker shades.
- Always sleep with your hair tied up in a braid or bun. No loose hair or regular ponytail.
- Do not use straighteners or curling irons on hair that has previously been treated with hairspray or gel.
- Do not wash or dry your hair upside down.
What can I do to avoid damaging my hair or the extension?
- Avoid combing them too roughly, pulling them, doing it quickly and in a hurry.
- Avoid breaking the hair at the ends and/or pulling it out from the root. The way you brush your hair is as important as the brush you use. You should use a brush that doesn't split the hair, with soft bristles, rubber, or boar hair. Avoid hard or aluminum combs. For correct brushing, you should make several sections in the hair and brush it strand by strand, very carefully from the ends upwards. Avoid very tight high ponytails – they pull hair out from the root, leaving the hairs hanging on the extension, and when the extension is removed, everything falls out at once, giving the sensation that a lot of hair has been pulled out because of the extension.
- Avoid washing your hair with very hot water – Very hot water is harmful to the scalp, causing the pores to open and allowing more hair to fall out. Similarly, not rinsing and clarifying the hair properly after washing can leave residue on the scalp, which can cause itching, flaking, and discomfort when wearing extensions.
- Have the maintenance performed on time and in the proper manner, by a professional.
- Ensure the hair is 100% dry after washing. Besides the unpleasant smell of wet hair, it causes tangles in the extension, making it difficult to detangle, which can lead to hair pulling. In addition to the above, it affects the appearance of the extension and can weaken the extension's attachment, causing it to fall out.
- The continuous use of bleach or dyes, straighteners or curling irons, causes the extension to lose its strength and become drier, causing breakage, tangling, etc.
How long do the extensions last?
There is no standard answer: the duration depends on the extensions and the maintenance.
- Keratin extensions, even with excellent quality and proper maintenance, can last up to 4-5 months, and after that, depending on the care, they can be reused 1 more time.
- Adhesive extensions, on the other hand, if kept in good condition, last on average up to 3 months and, after replacing the adhesive, can be reused as many times as desired and as long as the hair is in optimal condition for it.
- Removable dentures and extensions last depending on the time of use. With occasional use, the duration extends to more than a year.
Can I dye the extensions?
Yes. They can always be dyed darker or color-toned within the same tone level. The continuous and excessive use of bleach or dyes causes the extension to lose its strength and become drier, causing breakage, tangling, and significantly shortening the product's lifespan.
Can I straighten/curl the extensions with tongs?
Yes. After washing, the extensions pick up a little volume and a very soft wave, so to make them straight, you will have to iron them. Continued and excessive use of heat from the straightener/curler will considerably shorten the product's lifespan.
Can I get a perm on my hair extensions or keratin straightening treatments?
We do not recommend it, because the extension's attachment can be damaged, causing the extension to fall out. Perms are highly damaging to extension hair.
Will it be noticeable that I'm wearing them?
It shouldn't be noticeable if the amount of extension is appropriate and the placement is done by a professional.
How long does it take the hairdresser to apply the extensions?
There's no standard answer: the application time varies depending on the type of extension (keratin or adhesive), the desired type of application, and of course, the manual skills of the professional. Generally, an application can take from 1 hour to 4 hours.
Keratin extensions
How are keratin extensions applied?
The application procedure varies depending on the size of the keratin.
Keratin. Your hair is divided into small sections. The keratin nail is placed near the root of your own hair, under a strand of the same size, and then the keratin is fused with a specific thermal clamp. The keratin is shaped and folded with the fingers until it hardens and cools. We emphasize that the hair does not burn in this process, and the thermal clamp heats up to around 160-180 ºC.
How long do keratin extensions last?
Keratin extensions, even with excellent quality and proper maintenance, can last up to 4-5 months, and after that, depending on the care, they can be reused 1 more time.
How often should I maintain my extensions?
Maintenance sessions are typically scheduled every 3 months, depending on your hair growth and how comfortable you are with them.
How are keratin extensions removed?
It is recommended to NEVER remove them when you are alone at home, but to go to a specialized hairdresser. They are removed using flat pliers, pressing hard on the keratin bond until it weakens, and then, holding the hair root, gently pull the extension downwards, releasing it from the hair. If you want to reuse the extension, we recommend not using any type of solvent for this, since our extensions are perfectly removed without it.
Can I heat-touch the keratin?
No. It's very important when straightening your hair or using curling tongs not to touch the keratin bond, because the heat could melt the product and spread it all over your hair, and the extension could fall out.
Can I dye the extensions?
Yes. They can always be dyed darker or color balayage can be done within the same tone level. The continuous and excessive use of bleach or dyes causes the extension to lose its strength and become drier, causing breakage, tangling, and significantly shortening the product's lifespan.
Can I apply keratin extensions myself?
No. It is essential that they be applied by a professional in a specialized center. Nor could/would just any hairdresser apply them, as it is a specific specialty that requires experience and practice.
How do I know if it's the best technique for my hair?
For normal or thick hair and a considerable amount of hair, we recommend using Italian keratin. It's considered to have enough hair to cover the extension, holds the weight well, and doesn't pull or damage the hair.
adhesive extensions
How are adhesive extensions applied?
The hair is divided into strands, the same width as the extensions (in the case of our 4 cm Tape Extensions). One strand is applied on top of your hair and the other underneath, like a "sandwich", so that the hair remains in the middle and the adhesive strands stick together. No heat or flat irons are used for adhesion. The "sandwich" is simply pressed firmly with the fingers or special pliers.
How long do adhesive extensions last?
Adhesive extensions, if kept in good condition, last on average up to 3 months and, after replacing the adhesive, can be reused as many times as desired and as long as the hair is in optimal condition for it.
How often should I maintain my extensions?
Maintenance sessions are typically scheduled every 2-3 months, depending on your hair growth and how comfortable you are with them.
How do you remove adhesive extensions?
It is recommended to NEVER remove them when you are alone at home, but to go to a specialized hairdresser. They are removed using our special solvent. The adhesive is sprayed well from side to side until it is impregnated, and gently opened with the help of the comb's pick. With great care when removing the extension, comb the hair removing any remaining residue.
Can I apply heat to the adhesive?
No. Avoid touching the adhesive sandwich with the iron or tweezers, as it may be damaged. If the adhesive is heated, the extension may fall off, or even become unusable for reuse.
Can I dye the extensions?
Yes. They can always be dyed darker or color balayage can be done within the same tone level. The continuous and excessive use of bleach or dyes causes the extension to lose its strength and become drier, causing breakage, tangling, and significantly shortening the product's lifespan.
Can I apply adhesive extensions myself?
No. It is recommended that it be placed by a professional in a specialized center.
How do I know if it's the best technique for my hair?
For fine, weak, or sparse hair, we recommend adhesive extensions. They are the least bulky, do not damage the hair, and can be reused multiple times.
Curtain extensions/clips
How are clip-in or tape-in hair extensions applied?
Curtain extensions can be applied in different ways: Sewn: French braids are made from side to side of the head, and these curtains are sewn with thread and needle using the same braid. Sewn with micro-rings: the curtains are sewn using strands of your hair as a base, which are previously secured with small rings. With clips: the different strips are easily attached with clips in small sections starting from the root of your hair. In our tutorial section you will see how to apply each of our extensions.
When should you use clip-in extensions?
If you want a quick and convenient system for an event or occasional use, we recommend the clip-in system. These extensions are very easy and quick to apply, and are also ideal for enhancing hairstyles for special occasions.
How to care for removable hair extensions?
Maintenance is super simple; you just have to treat and wash them the same way you would your own hair, that is, when you see them dirty. Wash them in one direction: from top to bottom. Avoid doing it the other way around. Use shampoo and conditioner for dry hair to provide more hydration. When brushing your hair, start from the ends and work your way up while holding your hair at the top to prevent breakage. It's important to remove them before going to bed and never sleep with them in. Since the extensions are made of natural hair, you can style them with hair dryers and straighteners to achieve the look you want.
In our tutorial section, you'll see how to care for and maintain each of our extensions step by step.
